What brings you here? Regardless, my name is Jordan and I created this website about 10 years ago. I was trying to build a personal brand. I’ve kept the domain for all these years as I had used it as a blog of my travel adventures and to showcase my DJ project Joca.
During the 10 years I’ve created a few different business projects which you can learn more about below.
In 2013 I was tired of working for someone else. At that point, I had been blogging for a few years about golf instruction. I was able to learn a lot about SEO, websites and internet marketing.
A few close friends gave me great advice and challenged me to start my own local SEO company, Meaningful Marketing. I’m thankful they did as it’s allowed me a life of freedom.
Wanting to make a greater impact with my SEO and internet marketing skills, I launched Marketing Well in 2022. The focus is on helping therapists grow their private practices by improving their SEO and Google Ads.
I have created an online course teaching therapists how to setup and properly manage their Google Ads campaigns to generate more clients.
2003 marked the year I decided to take my love for trance music to the next level. I purchased turntables, a mixer and hundreds of vinyls and being my DJ career. I decided on the name Joca securing my first gig in 2004 and played at various events in Victoria until 2009.
I took a step back for a few years to focus on my personal life and career. But my love for music was always there and I still recorded a mix every couple of years. Then in 2017 I started to get back into DJ’ing and created a mix series called Chasing The Vibe. I’ve organized a few of my own events and am starting to play out again.
Another friend and I started Ultimate Happy Hours in 2018. We had chatted about creating a happy hour website for various cities. I was on a trip that brought me to Los Angeles and San Francisco. While in those cities I did some searches and couldn’t find up to date lists.
One of the nights I spent mapping the layout of the website. Within two months the site was created and launched with Victoria and Seattle being the first two cities. Over the 5 years the website now has over 3500 menus listed across 80 cities around the globe.
